With Seniors Annual Travel Insurance covered journeys are limited
to 45 days. For journeys exceeding 45 days, consider a Seniors One Trip Travel
Insurance policy.

Trip Travel Insurance Plan A,B,C,D or up to 3 months under the Seniors
One Trip Travel Insurance Domestic Plan.

you may want to consider obtaining a quote for Seniors Annual Travel Insurance.
Seniors Annual Travel Insurance policy starts from $395* for International Plan.
* Example based on customers who are aged 50-75.
Seniors Annual Travel Insurance and Seniors One Trip Travel
Insurance allows you to select either Single or Joint Cover:
Single Cover - Cover for You and Your Dependant Children and Grandchildren
and two (2) other Unrelated Children provided they are travelling with You on a
Journey.
Joint Cover - Cover for You and Your Spouse/Partner and Dependent
Children and Grandchildren and two (2) Unrelated Children provided they are travelling
with You on a Journey

Q. Is there any excess on each claim?
A. Yes - $100 on international plans and $50 on domestic plan.
Q. I have purchased a Seniors One Trip Travel Insurance policy and I have decided
to extend my 3 weeks trip by another 2 months, will you extend my policy?
A. No - but a new Seniors One Trip Travel Insurance policy can be taken out for
the extra 2 months. (Not the difference between 3 weeks and the extended period)
Q. I have purchased a Seniors Annual Travel Insurance policy and I have decided
to extend my 45 days trip by 5 days, will you extend my policy?
A. No, each trip covered under the Seniors Annual Travel Insurance policy may be
for a maximum of 45 days only. For extended cover you would need to purchase an
additional Seniors One Trip Insurance policy.
Q. Can an Insured cancel their Seniors One Trip Travel Insurance policy?
A. No - unless it is during the cooling off period.
Q. Can an Insured cancel their Seniors Annual Travel Insurance policy?
A. Yes, at anytime by telling us in writing.
Q. Why is your policy so cheap?
A. We can maintain competitive premiums because a lot of our policies are
sold online which means minimal administrative costs are passed onto consumers.
Q. If I take my grandchildren, will they be covered under the Policy?
A. Yes - dependent children and grandchildren and 2 other unrelated children
– who are up to and including 21 years of age, are covered for free when you purchase
this policy. There are no restrictions on the number of dependent children and
grandchildren to be included. All dependent children and
grandchildren/unrelated children must be named on the policy.

Q. Does the policy cover trip cancellations?
A. The policy does cover trip cancellations in certain circumstances, however
please refer to the Policy Wording and PDS for full explanation and defined terms.
Q. Is there a maximum travel period that the Seniors One Trip Travel Insurance
will cover?
A. Yes - the maximum journey period covered is 6 months under the International
Plan and 3 months under the Domestic Plan. If however you are planning to travel
longer, you are able to purchase two policies to cover the total travel period -
i.e. you are travelling for 7 months, you can purchase a policy for the initial
6 months and then another for the dates travelled in the last month.
Q. Is there a maximum travel period that the Seniors Annual Travel Insurance
will cover?
A. Yes - the maximum trip period covered is 45 days. You can purchase an
additional Seniors One Trip Travel Insurance policy for up to 6 months under the
International Plan, if required.
Q. Do I need to provide a medical certificate?
A. No - you do not need to provide a medical certificate to take out this
policy.
Q. Can my friend take up this policy if she doesn't have a Seniors Card?
A. Yes - you don't need to hold a Seniors Card to take out the policy,
but you must be at least 50 years old when applying.
Q. How old do I have to be to apply for Seniors Travel Insurance?
A. You must be at least 50 years old when you apply.
Q. What is the maximum age I can apply for Seniors Travel Insurance?
A. You must not be over 90 years old when you apply unless you will commence
your journey before your 91st birthday.
Q. Can I pay by cheque?
A. Our preferred payment method is credit card. We accept Visa, MasterCard, AMEX and Diners Club Card.

Q. Is clothing damaged or stained inside a suitcase due to leakage of deodorants etc, covered?
A. Yes - subject to terms and conditions and limits.
Q. What is the limit of cover for any one article on the Seniors One Trip Travel
Insurance policy?
A. $500 for any one item or set or pair of items.
Q. What is the limit of cover for any one article on the Seniors Annual Travel
Insurance (International) policy?
A. $750 for any one item
or set or pair of items
Q. What is the limit of cover for any one article on the Seniors Annual Travel Insurance
(Domestic) policy?
A. $500 for any one item
or set or pair of items.
Q. Is a video camera or any other item on loan or hire for the trip covered?
A. Yes - we regard these items as 'personal effects', but You
must make sure they are not already insured by the owner - who can claim on
their own policy. Subject to terms and conditions and limits.
Q. Are spectacles, contact lenses, false teeth, wheelchairs, artificial limbs, etc, covered?
A. Yes - subject to terms and conditions and limits.
Q. What happens if the carrier 'temporarily' misplaces the total luggage for more than 24 hours?
A. We will reimburse you for
essential emergency items
of clothing and toiletries up to the amount specified in the product/plan you purchase.
Q. The customs department will not allow me to bring in wooden carvings - can I claim?
A. No - confiscation or destruction by customs or other
authorities is not covered.
Q. Credit cards were stolen and used by the thief to buy several items - what can be claimed?
A. The cost of obtaining replacement credit cards maybe
covered PLUS your personal legal liability arising from their illegal use is covered
providing that you comply with all card conditions prior to and after the theft.

Q. I have booked a trip but can no longer go because my employer has cancelled my leave - is it covered?
A. No - the policy excludes cover for losses arising from
an employer’s request.
Q. I have been charged extra to change my itinerary as I can't meet a friend in
London
- can I claim?
A. No - the policy excludes cover for a change in plans.
Q. My trip to
Fiji
was cancelled due to cyclones - can I claim?
A. Yes - subject to the policy limits, terms, conditions
and exclusions.
Q. My mother died after being sick for 6 months - can I claim travel cancellation?
A. No - but we cover loss of deposits and cancellation
charges arising from the unforeseeable death of a relative. Subject to the policy
limits, terms, conditions and exclusions.
Q. I suffer from pre-existing medical and physical conditions.
Can I claim for Medical/Hospital/Additional Expenses if I need treatment when
overseas?
A. No - except
if you have a condition listed in the "Pre-approved Medical Conditions".

Q. What is ACE Assistance? How does it work?
A. ACE Assistance is a 24 hour emergency help line. In the event of a medical or similar emergency overseas, you simply call (reverse charge) the number shown on the card and ACE Assistance will assist in locating medical
assistance in your areas.
Q. What does ACE Assistance do?
A. ACE Assistance provides free of charge, a service which
will direct you to medical or hospital care available locally.
They also provide some pre-travel advice on health.

Personal Liability |
Q. I am sued following a motorcycle accident in
Fiji
- can I claim?
A. No - this section specifically excludes cover for losses
arising from the use of mechanically propelled vehicles.
Note: We will not consider
any liability claim unless our written approval has been given before you
become involved in litigation or make any undertaking
to pay. The total liability for any claim including legal and other costs is the
same amount shown in the Schedule.
